I am sorry for your loss. My shrimp tank does not have lighting either. It is in front of a row of windows, and recieves sunlight. It is well planted, and the plants are thriving on the sunlight. (the windows are on the side of the house that gets afternoon sun. Take care, Shannon

Update on the shrimp carrying eggs! :shock: Her eggs were gone this morning, so I was thinking oh well, maybe next time. But on closer inspection, there are some very small shrimpies in the tank! I've only seen a couple, but read that they are good hiders. There are no predators in the tank so hope...
