How long does the process take from breeding until you see eggs, and from eggs to babies? Thanks for being so helpfull!

Do you always keep them separate up to the point of breeding? Also, I know this has been asked before, but what are you feeding yours?

Has anyone figured out how to induce breeding? Also are you using filtered water & changing water every week?

Looks like I'll have babies soon! Is anyone else having sucess breeding these crays? Mine seem to be very picky...only breeding in the spring.

I only feed mine home grown worms so I know what's in them. I would never put my little guys life in danger! I've never tried peas, I'll have to give it a try. I've fed them boiled zucchinni and squash though.

I just wanted to say I'm glad to see there are others out there that enjoy these little guys as much as I do!

If you add some liquid calcium it will encourage moulting & strengthen their shells. It is also good for your plants & snails. I add 1 drop to my water once a week.

What do you all feed your little crays? Mine love whole whiteworms, chopped earthworms, & fish.

I have natural driftwood in my tank. They like to hide in the holes or climb atop while/after moulting. Sometimes they just climb to the top of the plants & rest there.
