If they are very red, they are probably female.

If they have a stripe down their back they are probably female.

The saddle thing you dont see all the time on females, and I think it's just when they are ready to mate/have eggs that you see it.

Do you have something that regulates the co2?

I've had bad experiences with diy yeast injectors. Plants did great. Shrimp did horrible.

Have you tried daphnia? If a tank gets out of control I put some daphnia magna in. They clear the tank pretty fast. They'll bloom so to speak and multiply like crazy, then after the water clears, they crash, and most die out. The bloom/crash takes about 4 days for me, but I put alot of daphnia in, s...

If you dont like the grade thing.. then dont do it. I think the idea is selective breeding. By using parents with more desireable attributes, you get better offspring. That's better for everyone. I called wet pet today, and they dont have any.

Just ghost shrimp, and crays, with amano's coming later this week.

The lady that answered said she hasnt been able to get them lately.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I see alot of mention of different grades of CRS. Is there a guide to this scale somewhere? Also.. it's my understanding that as the CRS mature, they tend to lose the white stripe width. So.. how does the grading scale work, and does it apply to adults or juvi...
