Have you tried daphnia? If a tank gets out of control I put some daphnia magna in. They clear the tank pretty fast. They'll bloom so to speak and multiply like crazy, then after the water clears, they crash, and most die out. The bloom/crash takes about 4 days for me, but I put alot of daphnia in, s...

If you dont like the grade thing.. then dont do it. I think the idea is selective breeding. By using parents with more desireable attributes, you get better offspring. That's better for everyone. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I see alot of mention of different grades of CRS. Is there a guide to this scale somewhere?
