I am trying to keep them in my discus tank which is in the 84F - 86F range. They seemed to be doing well for awhile, then they started to die off. Of the original ten I put in the tank, there are two left.

Myred cherries are breeding like guppies now, but I discovered some hydra on the front glass pne of the tank. Can they possibly catch and eat newly-hatched baby RCS? And if yes, besides tearing down the tank and starting again, what can I do to get rid of them?

Thanks for your reply... Actually I put 20 in the Eclipse and the remaining 10 in a 125 and I aclimated them all slowly using the drip method. Is 20 crowded for a 6 gal Eclipse? The shrimp are so small (1/2"). As they grew I planned to farm them out to my other tanks... I appreciate your insigh...
