I guess I forgot to mention when I said the tank was well cycled it did have a host of fish in it and has been reading zero across the board for 3 years *sorry*
But anywho here...They made the move...I ended up using a breeder basket that like hangs in the corner only I laid it down on it's side and ...

Moving question (literally)
I have to move my shrimp into a bigger tank. The tank they are in is aging and starting to leak ((slowly)).
Any suggestions on an easy transition for them? I am going to re-use their water and I do have enough RO water on hand to re-fill (they are going from a 20 long to a 45 long). The tank itself ...

I keep trumpets because my shrimp tank has alot of plants...and trumpets do live in the gravel and move the substrate around and in turn my plants grow better. That and in all honest it seems my beloved cherry prefer to eat after the house is quiet and IF I should happen to overfeed them no worries ...

Something weird in RCS tank
I was feeding my cherry red's tonight and I found this "thing" in my tank. Its about 3/4 inch long has 6 legs...its really skinny and has like a V shape tail. It swims be kinda squiggling thru the water. It appears to have a separate head from its body.

I have about 25 cherry shrimp in a heavly planted 20 gallon(short) tank. They share their home with 1 mystery snail. They have 2 corner filters (one on each end).
