Re: Tank Problems
I just checked and I think it’s just dark algae. It might be bits of the moss ball...I’ll attach a picture. I want to remove the hair algae but I don’t want to hurt the babies in there :/ I did see one small snail alive and climbing up the tank yesterday which is good. I had an insane amount of snai...

Powder or Pellet Food?
I was wondering if it was better to feed powdered spiralina or pellet spiralina. My thought with the pellet was that anything uneaten could be removed. The powder though is already broken up nice and small for them to snack on. I know it’s a silly question but I’m planning on purchasing new food for...

Re: SICK SHRIMP?! HELP!!!!!
No, the shrimp is behaving normally, just swimming around the tank. Could it be a bad molt like Marianne suggested?

How Long Can Food Stay in the Tank?
I know I've seen comments before on here saying not to leave food in the tank for more then an hour but today I fed my shrimp an algae wafer and they didn't even notice it in their until after an hour, at which point I kept checking every half an hour to find each time 1-3 shrimp eating the wafer. I...

SICK SHRIMP?! HELP!!!!!
Hello, I noticed this little guy in the tank today and that he has these white things on his underside. Is he sick? It kind of looks like ick. Hopefully the photos are clear enough, my phone cameras not great. Thank you in advance for your help. 8A991ABE-F269-4404-9026-916C01ACB586.jpeg B0CCFF63-F06...

Tank Problems
Hello! So I left my shrimp in the care of friends while I was out of the state for six months. Anyways, I've returned recently and noticed some changes in the tank. First, some of the macroalgae has turned white, which I'm assuming means its dead. It also appears that all my snails have died as I ha...

Best Shrimp Food?
Hello,
I was wondering what the best food would be to feed my shrimp. I currently use spirulina powder but I never see them go to the top of the tank to eat it when I sprinkle any in. I presume that it would be better to use sinking pellets. Is there a brand/type anyone recommends?

Re: Over Populated Snails
Mustafa you might be right about there being hair algae in my tank. I certainly did not put it there but now that I’ve looked closer at the mass on the right of the rock it does look like it has small hairs coming out of it. Maybe it came from my seafan? Someone else in this foreum posted about hair...

Re: Over Populated Snails
Hah, you can send me your extra snails, mine seem to be dying off. :( No idea why, the shrimp are happily multiplying. But my snails are in a bad way and my macroalgae isn't growing either. We are definitely having the opposite problems with our snails and macroalgae!! :P Maybe differences in the a...

Re: Over Populated Snails
Noting that it is the macroalgae from your store Mustafa would you still recommend that I remove it? I don’t want any of the babies getting trapped in it when they hatch!
