How Long did it take for your macro algae to get that large?


It was put in the tank in mid-January.

And news! The population in the tank has more than doubled with both berried moms having had their hatch. Lots of little, tiny babies! If I can manage any decent photos, I'll post them ...

I have attached 3 pictures 2 of them the shrimp are almost clear. The other one the shrimp is red.

Congratulations on your berried shrimp! They must be happy shrimp or they would not reproduce as they have. Also, that macro algae has really grown!


Thanks! I plan on starting another tank for my office, so I'll cut that macro algae in half and use it to jump start the new tank.

New here and trying to find out information about my shrimp.

Does anyone know why some of my shrimp are clear white and not all red?

Sorry as I am a beginner. Can someone please tell me if my shrimp died? If you see the picture there is a peace of skin in the middle of the bowl.
