I'd say full term 30 days when you witness her eggs lowered to her swimmerets 1st day, otherwise its a hit or miss by 1 or 2 days not much.

try close all light, use torch light beam it at the side tank. Observe properly for any small particle movement.
From my opae, not all eggs will float, some will just stay at the bottom but they just really loves going towards light. Try it and let us know.

Brown algae only happens to me when the tank is new, it will go away after sometimes besides Opae do eat brown algae and my nerite snail loves eating it.
When shrimp swimming around observe if there's poop coming out from them. It takes a long staring at them to be able to see it but it's worth it ...

Maybe it's something to do with how the light hits that faceted glass at that time of day. They might think they're actually getting somewhere. :D
