Thanks for all the suggestions. I'll let you know what happens. I tried taking photos but that's a whole different problem [me - new to dig camera and sucking at getting the little guys in focus.]
Thankfully they're alive and active and I'll hopefully get 'em back to normal.

Thank you for this great site; I've really appreciated the info! I purchased 10 cherrys two or three months ago and three females have had eggs/babies twice each. So many baby shrimps it's amazing! They're a true joy to watch zoom around the tanks. I hope we can get some pictures soon ...
