They eat any decaying organics so they can eat dead macroalgae, in the wild the opae ula eat dead bugs that fall in the pools, leaf litter, etc

Cystoseria species didnt grow very well in my tank, the brown macroalgae dont grow at all, I have better results with green macroalgae like Aegagropila linnei, cladophoropsis, ulva sp, etc

My tank its been running 4 months now, no filter no air no water changes, the water quality its okey and even smells good just like fresh ocean water

Have you think to upgrade them to a bigger tank? I think they deserve something bigger since they have live that long and maybe add more shrimps and breed them
