Thanks for replies. Dch48 that seems like a lot of poop for 5 little tiny shrimp. I thought in a closed system maybe they ate there poop? Do you clean it out? or just let it all sit under the rocks? yes the lids is able to be removed. We were told when we bought the containers that we did not have to do anything accept open and add water if it evaporated. No food, nothing, all self contained. After 6 months there was maybe an evaporation of 1 tbls. Which I replaced when I opened and put in the ...

One other ??. Is it normal for the shrimp to fight each other? I noticed one of the new shrimp and my old shrimp going at it today. Just for a few seconds.

Thanks everyone for chiming in. I have no idea who to believe about the little glass container. The gal that sells them states they are fully contained and you do not need to do anything accept add distilled water if the water were to evaporate. Hello, I am just a tiny shrimp container keeper. It is one of those enclosed self everything little glass jar. That come with 4 shrimp in it.
