Yellow shrimp... other name???
Well I finally have some yellow shrimp, the cousin of the cherries, snowballs and blue pearls.
Now you may have notices the other have catchy names... why not the yellow one?
Should we be calling them lemon or banana shrimp? Or other?

Re: Crystal reds, bee and tiger shrimp "problem"
They were in the same water, solft, as the crystals and they all died... two sets. I'm now tring to see if adding a bit of calcium in the water will help.
I will be getting a new group in a few weeks.

Re: Crystal reds, bee and tiger shrimp "problem"
I vary the amount of food that I give them depending on how many shrimp are there.
I had the same problem with green shrimp as well, I'm doen to three addults but have 5 babies now.
I have added a bit of crushed coral so we will se if that makes a difference in the long term.

Oh ya, just as mutch as the pond snails...
I'm not sure, but there seem to be less of them when I put an assasin snail in the same tank, so they seem to eat them as well.

Blue shrimp ID
My friend go these shrimp from Seattle and I have no clue as to what they are.
They have not changed colour. I know that they are not Blue pearl Shrimp or Blue cherry shrimp.

Any ideas? (I'm TKD in that forum as well)
Thanks
