My previous experience with adding the horned nerite snail in has never been successful, all of them died not long after adding in but the shrimps and the old snail seems to survive well. Trying to slowly drip the tank water into the newly bought snails water bag b4 dropping them in this time. Odd....

I set up a 27 liters (30x30x30cm) cube tank at the end of July, and two days ago the first larvae began floating in it. Kinda success!

I use turkey baster to clean dirt from opae ula tank, then filter sucked water and then drain it back to the tank.
I have to clean because kind of brownish algae grows on glass and falls as a nasty flakes on gravel. And unfortunately horned nerites don't eat this algae.
