I have this same stuff in my tank! Did you end up getting it to die or remove it? If so how? I cut the lighting in my tank & stopped feeding and it helped only a little bit. (I know this is a year later lol but I was searching keywords and stumbled across this post) thanks!!

You’re overthinking it. What type of water did you use? RO or distilled. If you did it’s pure and more than likely void of any harmful pests. So I did count more seemingly healthy shrimp (11-12) and I saw another molt. But today I noticed a little guy swimming very erratically - almost jumping like popcorn and landing on his back - I think if something is wrong, whatever it is might be affecting him - what does this type of swimming mean?

I think that YouTube video caters to FW tanks. I've never seen any of those survive or appear in brackish tanks. I even feed dragonfly nymphs to my Alpha Opae Ula and they don't survive in brackish. Then again they get eaten pretty quickly. Yeah I checked it out and didn’t think any of them matched...
