I did not have a small plastic bottle, so I have used a 2 liter pop bottle. I place some algae pellets in the bottom and placed is sideways in my tank. I checked back 2 hours later, 21 shrimp, 16 mollies, 2 cory cats. Success!! Emptied out the shrimp in my 29 gallon tank and reloaded. 2 hours later ...

Thanks for the trap idea Alexperex! I will try it out today and let you know the outcome. The option of removing the plants and catching the shrimp is not one I want to do. I hope it works.

I have a large heavily planted tank with a healthy population of Red Claw shrimp. I would like to remove all the shrimp and move them to another tank. As soon as the shrimp see me with a net they hide and all but dissapear in the plants. Is there some sort of trap that can be made or purchased or so...
