Posters were wondering whether it was Batophora oerstedii or Batophora ocidentalis . That's what I meant. That alga looks nice when it's growing. Has there been any research on it to help fill in some of your knowledge gaps in their life cycle?

Yes, MTS usually means Malaysian trumpet snails. They’re freshwater snails and may survive only in *lightly* brackish water, but they usually don’t thrive at the salinity used for Opae ula shrimp.
