MARS systems are commercial aquarium systems by Marineland. They are ok, but i haven't had a good experience with them. The store i work in uses them and we constantly have problems.

The dark male looks like a rusty macro and the others look like red claw macros. I don't know whether or not they would hybridize. Check out the shimp varieties page, both of these shrimp are listed there.

Red nose shrimp would do alright in the same water, but they have a normal breeding process. Cajun dwarf crayfish might be good for your tank though. However, they might freak out the cherries ...

It sounds like as long as you got mature amanos that they would be fine. Smaller ones might get eaten by the loaches. Yeah i read it. I've been varying his diet some more. I found some shrimp pellets that i bought and never used a while ago. He seems ok. As far as aggressive fish, i don't think i have any.
