Yes, they are both well planted, thus providing plenty of hiding spots for the shrimp. However, on many occasions, I have seen various fi...

DEAD SHRIMP
I posted on another thread that we recently purchased 4 expensive Bumblebee Shrimp on sale at our local tropical fish shop. We put them into our smallest tank (6 gallons) which also houses 4 young platys. Today we found one of them dead. Another seems to be losing color and is very unenergetic. Very...

Breeding Cherry Red Shrimp
It seems that we've recently noticed some tiny Cherry Red Shrimp in our tank. It appears that they are babies. Are these toiny creatures at risk of being eaten by bigger shrimp and / or fish? We have a community tank with some Corys, a Pleco, Platies, different kinds of Tetras, and African Lampeyes....

This is my first post on this site! Anyway, I am posting to inquire about shrimp for a new tank. we have an existing 16 gallon tank in which we just added 3 Caridina Japonica. One died the next day. The other 2 have been doing well for a couple of weeks. The prime goal was to have them eat the algae...
