hydra is not a worm but a sort of freshwater "anemon", it is an invertebrate and like most of invertebrate hydra dont like copper and very high temp. but the bad part is shrimp are also invertebrate and they dont like copper and very high temp either so .... :roll: hydra is carnivor also a...

Yours is a filter feeder, and the color of most of them goes drab when they are stressed. Make them happy, then check. This is not a macrobrachium, Xiphocaris or palaemon shrimp. Ouput of a RO unit who wrok well is suppose to be cloinse to 7 (+/-)

if you PH keep going UP that's mean you something in your water that the R/o did not remove.

but mustafa explanation is way better than mine :)
