Why wouldn't you keep it?

They used to scarf down the betta's pellets eagerly, actually swimming to the top and competing with him for them.

Now they aren't eating the betta's pellets. I've tried algae wafers and shrimp pellets; they seemed a bit interested but they didn't eat those either.

I found another shrimp dead this morning. This one still had the normal clear exoskeleton.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. There are only 2 surviving shrimp now.

I had 5 ghost shrimp in a 5 gallon tank with a betta. They were active, had a good appetite, everything seemed to be going well.
