Sorry, I did read all the shrimp variety pages, as I mentioned in my first post, but I dont know anything/understand about shrimps 'genus' etc so have no idea if they would interbreed.

I am just looking for a good shrimpates for cherry shrimp that wont interbreed, enjoys the same water conditions ...

Oh, and does anyone know which is the best shrimpmate for Red Cherry Shrimp? I was thinking of getting tiger shrimp, are they good together, or do the inter-breed?

There seems to be abit of conflicting opinion as to how many shrimp are needed to start a good population :?

After reading articles elsewhere, I get the impression that all red cherry shrimp orignally came from just a couple of shrimp - so they are really already ...

How big are they at four/five months old?

Thanks for your suggestion, but I did originally try five endlers (see earlier post) and he ate them all aswell. I only bought danios this time to save abit of money, and see if anything had changed - which it hasnt. He does readily accept shrimp pellets ...

I have been keeping him well fed - I found out by a process of trial and elimination that he needs/eats 10 shrimp pellets a day (I feed him one every hour and its gone within a few minutes) plus the odd piece of chicken etc. Up until yesterday there was just 'Graham the ...

Thanks for your reply - I had just heard the certain plants could be toxic or posionous to shrimp if ingested etc. Maybe I should rephrase my question to "What are the best plants for a shrimp tank?"
I currently have Java Moss, Elodea Densa and Cabomba Australis, but would like to try some new types ...

I just wondered if you could please help me with a few questions :-
-How you can tell a Blue claw apart from a runt if you only have the one M. Rosenbergii? (so I cant compare)
