Most algae discs are less than 10% algae. I don't really know why they named them "algae discs" but most of the ingredients are meats/fish etc.

The articles doesn't answer directly whether or not they can be kept with cherry shrimplets. I assume that if they don't bother their own babies when they have sufficient food, they would also leave the shrimp alone, but does anyone know if that's true? What do you guys think is the optimal gH for shrimp?

My tap water shoots out gh of 8. Should I bring it higher?
