Yup I have seen that. I just thought that they were just trying to find a way out of the tank.

I am positive I have males (if the males are smaller and a lot more clear). I have about 7 or 8 females and about the same males.

I will try the 25% WC and see if that helps.

I have noticed over the past few weeks that whenever the female cherry shrimp start to carry the eggs, they drop them within a few days. I really do believe that they are just molts. I guess I was getting a little freaked out but I still have the same amount of shrimp as I did before, I just couldnt count them all.

Had my water tested for copper.... none. Thought my water lines were leeching copper into the water, and nope, all good.

I just did a 60% water change with zero additives other than dechlorinator. If I still have deaths after this.... what does everyone suggest?

I got them from a breeder in Alberta Canada (next province to me).

As for the "dead" shrimp, they are white or colorless, not clear.

The filter was set up in a different tank for about 6 months prior to me moving it to a newer tank. I had also put 50% of the water from the old tank in the new tank and moved the few shrimp I had in there to the new tank. Those originals are still alive and well.

Amonia, nitrates, nitrites, are all zero. I was feeding them every other day and made sure that no extra food was left over to contaminate the water.

Ok so I had about 30 shrimp in a 10g fully cycled tank at about 76F. Its bare bottom with some floating and some potted plants. I just dont know where to get shrimp from here anymore, as my LFS wont order any in.
