i have kept sa dwarfs with shrimp brefore and they werent aggressive at them at all. but im more worried that perhaps they will compete over hidin places because i will have several cave like places for the cichlids to preferably breed. plus its a very large tank and i didnt want a whole lot of crays.

he i am new to keeping dwarf crayfish. i would love to add some to my 60 gallon planted, i hear they are fine with shrimp and fish. but i will have dwarf cichlids in the tank and i dont want them competing for hiding places so what would yu'all suggest as hiding places for the crays. im not worried ...

it is my experience that the cherry shrimp will hide a great deal more when a predatory fish is swimming about. the culprit in my 29 gallon was a lamp eye tetra and size isnt always important. for i have red blue columbian tetras in my 60 and they dont mess with my shrimp at all (just ghost right ...

wow thats a cool idea for shrimp rearing, gonna have to try it for my new shrimp breeding tank.

i squiwsh up snails for my shrimps as well as fish, get plenty from the tanks at work so free snails all the time
