Where the heck to you come over this kind of information? I have been searching high and low across the net for shrimp information, and beside this site, I have not found anything worth my time...

I know, it's not enough by fare :roll: I want to breed apistos and corys, but have only minimal luck with it so fare. The cory's keep laying eggs just about every day, but even when I take the eggs in to a seperat tank they will get this white fungus thingi on them... And my apisto's keep eating the...

Yepp, that would be the one I was thinking about as well. I serves a double pourpous for me, first it helps keep the egg's clean form fungus, and second I don't have to set up a hacthing tank for the eggs. I only have around 10 tanks, so space is of the outmost importance

Woho! Cleaning out my 120G tank last night, and would you not know it, tiny Macrobrachium cf. assamensis was running about in there! Woho, that just means that the number of shrimp species I have breed have doubled

I find them very entertaining. They do a lot of swimming, and are often on the move around the tank. They make a good contrast to the other shrimps, and so I like to keep a few around. From what I have been reading, they might need brackish water to breed

I was wondering what different species of shrimp people here have succesfully breed. So fare my list is really short, just the Red Cherry Shrimp, and that's that. I will give the Amano and bumblebee a chance next, so fingers crossed. But, what other species have been breed by forum users?

I live in norway, and usually the only shrimp you can find is the Amano, and in some rare cases ghost shrimp.

But norwegian stores can order me red cherry, tiger, red-nose, bubblebe and wood shrimp. Guess that's the way to go unless you get really lucky!

So that means that unless it says it need brackish water normal freshwater will do just fine? In that case I'm ordering some bumble bee's and tigers any day soon now
