I have not witnessed any canabalism at any stage either even after they have morphed into adults. If you are going to mix the spawns then keep a track of their expected date of metamorphasis (25 days onwards for me) so that you can start catching the adults. Let us know how you get on.

I'm using mature water from my planted tank to make my sea water. I'm thinking of trying a minture protein skimmer, there are some that are air powered because I've had alot of casualties from them getting caught in the surface tension. This usually happens as the water thickens with phyto plankton....
