do you think that a sponge filter in a 40cmx23cmx25 cm is too large???? if i found a low-noise aerator and sponge filter are not too big,, i will use it... Another question: if i use spongefilter and CO2, are you sure that the presence of the aeratorwouldn't affect the absortion of CO2 from plants? ...

maybe i wrote a wrong title....when i say "fish room" i was thinkig to a small "battery" of tanks where to keep in example 4 species, to keep in a room where i stay or my bedroom.. So, i think that 30 liters is enough for that objective..no?i think that is a nice volume for the s...

zapisto...i don't understand a thing when you say "think about visibility and comfort (specially in your case) dont be cheap to fill a hole, bottom tank are not a good thing for visibility even if you loos space think of it before put them too low. "

yes i understand about the water parameters..in the tank with white pearl i have tap water (approx pH 7.2-7.5 medium hardness)...
so i think that biene are not able to live correctly in this water...
