A month later and the Caulerpa seems to be doing well. Very little leaves melting. So far this particular tank is doing the best.

You should be fine. Probably the cloud is just made up of calcium. Worse case just do a major water change.

I don't think you can convert eleocharis acicularis to a brackish salinity of 1.014. Looks like it's strictly a FW plant which as far as plant care has more requirements than most i.e. CO2 &, med to high light + fertilization. Very little when it comes to plants is a brackish tank.
