Re: Young Cardinal Shrimp
UPDATE: I now have had my first berried female give birth! There are 7 newly hatched that I can see in my tank and perhaps a few more hidden. This is a exciting day for me and it was about 20 days from berry to birth. I will indeed pay attention to survival rate as well and let you know how it goes....

Re: Hawaiian Volcano Shrimp
They are not Ramshorn, but MTS-Trumpet Snails and they are fine so far in the tank with salinity 1.012 all the small Pond and Ramshorn I was unable to catch prior to adding salt have now passed.

Y...

Re: Hawaiian Volcano Shrimp
OK here is what I am doing... I had a well matured 10 gallon tank about 1 year old and empty save for some snails, removed the Pond and Ramshorn snails leaving the MTS and will be allowing them to acclimate as I add salt over the next several days. I did allot of research on setting up a brackish ta...

Re: Interesting shrimp
Hello Mustafa, I have 5 of them in a 10 gallon and though I don't see them all at once I think they are still all alive. My findings behavior wise are the same as yours and these are very shy shrimp and stay hidden through the day. I really hope they will breed for me. The other two odd species are ...
