Here is another shot of the unidentified species. There may be 3 of these, but I can't be sure... In the background is another species all together.

So far they are doing well, but still too young to breed. I will update with any progress.

Re: Neocaridina disease or parasite
Is this as it appears, a lack of pigment? Or is the flesh showing a "milky look"? Could just be an odd colored shrimp and I have some clear looking ones show up in my colony from time to time...
A milky look to the shrimp is not a good sign....

Re: Halocaridina rubra
I have been keeping H rubra for several months and your setup sounds like it will work fine, I would however let the tank cycle and mature regardless of what you were told. A good healthy matured tank with a healthy growth of bio film is always best for any shrimp in my opinion. I also feed a couple...

Contaminant species...
Hello Mustafa and All, Here is one of 3 shrimp like this that showed up with my Cardinal Shrimp from Sulawesi as fry. They are now close to being old enough to breed and I hope there is a male and female. They are hard to get a photo of as they are always on the move, but the body is shaped much lik...

Nice Pat,
Soon you will have little ones and it only takes about 2 weeks for the larvae to be released. Glad to see they are doing well for you. Please keep us updated as things progress.
Cheers, Bill

Re: Acclimatization period of Sulawesi Cardinals
I ordered Cardinal from Indonesia and as Mustafa said 3/4 of them died over a few weeks, but I do now have a healthy colony that is sporadically breeding. Not sure what I have wrong, but breeding is now slowed. I do have 3 generations of shrimp though and hope to get the ball rolling again.

Re: Malawa and Sri Lanka shrimp
Hi Pat,
Very nice shrimp and I just got 20 of them yesterday from Mustafa. All were alive and well and are now happily picking about in their new home. I will start a thread with some photos if I can get them to hold still long enough for a macro shot, active little shrimp....
Cheers, Bill

Nice Shrimp! I have 3 berried myself. These are some very active and interesting shrimp and at times quite comical as well.
