Re: java moss question
Can't use java moss. Your salinity is too high.

Re: Snails or shrimp first?
Java fern will just die out and throw off your waters parameters. The salinity is too high for java fern. How new is the set up?

Amano larvae in FW will die within 48hrs. Your pic is of a copepod. Can you post better or additional pics?

Re: Baby Amarno shrimp in tank
There's nobody else who has bred Amanos in FW let alone raising them in full SW at the larvae stage. They need to be fed phytoplankton and there's no food source in your tank. Also that is not a pic of a baby shrimp. I assume some type of pod.

Re: Help requested: salinity
Also the shrimp are used to a wide range in fluctuations. Salinity changes won't affect the shrimp.

Best places for these shrimp to hide are lava rocks. I've seen other use mangrove and it worked well for them.

It's fine. You don't need to drip acclimate. What kind of water did you use?

Re: Tiny white floating things?/feeding question
You’re overthinking it. What type of water did you use? RO or distilled. If you did it’s pure and more than likely void of any harmful pests. I can’t think of anyone that had harmful pests in their tanks due to the normal set up like PetShrimp advises.

Re: Tiny white floating things?/feeding question
I think that YouTube video caters to FW tanks. I've never seen any of those survive or appear in brackish tanks. I even feed dragonfly nymphs to my Alpha Opae Ula and they don't survive in brackish. Then again they get eaten pretty quickly.
