Thanks. Just to clarify. I do feed my shrimp as described. I thought I would have to increase feeding for the sake of the snails.

I live in Ohio. I have a gallon brackish aquarium ready for my super shrimp, but it is getting cold in these parts. Should I wait until it is warmer outside to order super shrimp (and neon blue guppies)? Oh... the guppies are not for the brackish tank!!!

I am contemplating setting up a tank for "SuperShrimp". I have a two gallon plexiglass tank with a built in under gravel filter and a light. Would using the filter be harmful or helpful for the shrimp? Once the algae starts growing and shrimp are introduced is the light harmful or helpful?
