i ended up switching the lights from the 20L and the 40B. the algae already seems to be doing a lot better and i like the color better, it feels more natural. to me anyway

i had bubbles all over my tank also. i never had any issues with them. some even turned into these cool algae bubbles that can only form in saltwater because of surface tension.

if it becomes a further problem you could possibly try a bleach dip to kill it. i know it works for snail eggs at least. but it should take care of this "fuzz" also.

sorry to hear that i have had a couple in the past that have recovered from this believe it or not, but it took weeks. any kind of additional stress from there seemed to kill it instantly.
