Thanks. Just the light reflection. Wish the shrimp was blue. The tank's doing great. The cheato is staring to get to be a little too much. I'll trim it down soon. I probably have a dozen or so baby opae floating around at this time.

I feel there's enough in there so I'm not feeding. It's getting better.

I figured out how to deal with it. It was some type of hair algae. Pulling it off was fine but I could not get all of it off so it would grow back. Here's my solution.

Thanks. I have at least 200 in this tank that was started in Dec. 2016. Most hide out in the back. At times you'll see a good amount out.

If there's algae growing in there why would there be a need to feed? I've pretty much stopped feeding mine and they're doing great just feeding off the bioslime and algae. I'm not experienced by far but from what Mustafa preaches this is the best way to go?

In the last week I have what looks to be some type of hair algae growing on my sea fan. Does anyone know what this is? It;s growing pretty quick. Not sure what to do about it right now.

I think 30 just for viewing would not be enough. I have the same JBJ Nano 6 set up right now. If I had to do the tank all over again I would not allow my shrimp to have access to the rear. The shrimp will go back there. I did not block the outlet hole of the filter and they would go through it. I ha...

I have the macroalgae from Petshrimp. It does grow pretty fast. I want to trim it down. Can I put the excess in a 1 gallon bottle, light direct sun in the house. Will it survive? or what do I need to do?

This one came with my Nerites. Been in my tank for 6 months. Sometimes burrows in the sand.
