Is This common ? In Cherry Red Shrimp.
I have 5 adult females out of around 50, after moulting, they are a see-through light blue.
And they really never color up, to a real red.
I have tried to get a picture, but, with a old digital camera I need alot of overhead light , to get a picture and it does not show up in the picture.
I thought I read in another thread about this, but, can not find it again.
Any help will be appreciated.
Have a Great Day

As I have stated in a old post.
I have a varied group of shrimp. ( which were sold as Cherry Red)
I have sorted out Wild type with geenish eggs.
And now a few with the blue tint. I know the "blue" is a sticky subject.
But these were raised by me with no " color additives".
And some, very intense Red ones.
As for the water, it comes straight out of Lake Michigan.
Well that might be the problem
I am trying to get a picture of this.
I know a picture speaks a thosand words.
But until that happens, I am counting on any feedback from other menbers.

Hi Mustafa
The eggs are more of a yellow to yellowish green in color. On most of the Females.
One female Has the bluish geen.
The Shrimp show the most "blue" very transparent ,right after they moult. for about 5 days.
Then the Red starts to show up after that.
A couple, really never get alot of red, Just on the top of the "back".
And one is the darkest red, almost blood red.
I am watching the tanks very closely for these ,so I can sort them out and put them in there own tank.
Always Thankful
For any Information
