Post by Evan »

I really like filter feeders. I guess its something different then any other shrimp. I really like the vampire shrimp. I'm just asking what they eat tank size that kinda stuff. Thanks Evan.

VS are basically filter feeders, so if you have a 'not so clean tank', it would be ideal :D

They will take fish flakes, frozen food and the ocassional Japonica larvae

They do well in a clean tank as well, as long as there is food, they won't starve. I sometimes mash the algae wafer with a spoon and drop it into the tank, you see them come out for a feeding then.

Cheers

yup. On the Shrimp Varieties page near the bottom(or at the bottom) theres an article on them. I personally like the big bad shrimp.
