i found a pregnant amano in the main tank so i put it in thouse big jars and added 3 tsp of aqarium salt.....preparing for the new borns..........but i found it dead the next day ><!!!!
wat have i done wrong?

and will the eggs still hatch?

i only found that they need salt water to hatch untill they get into shrimp form then i can release them back to fresh water

need some good guidence on how to breed these shrimps

The adults do not tolerate saltwater, only the fry. Isolate the female in a freshwater tank, then remove the fry and transfer them to salt water.

Try searching the forum and you'll find lots of info on this.

You should not use aquarium salt. They need sea salt.

so when u say removing the fry meaning taking them from the mothers stomach or let it loose by itself?

Alright...stop right here. As was suggested above search the forum *first* a few hours or days before you ask any further questions. These things have been discussed ad nauseum before. Also, read the RULES section where it states that you have to search the forum before asking any questions. Hence, you are breaking that rule as we speak.
