I am using Seachem Flourish with 0.00005% copper. I really think that is insignificant, even over time. A percentage of the copper I am adding to the tank via fertilizer is actually getting used by the plants and also removed during water changes so it isn't a big problem. Personally I have never had any problems. I really doubt the shrimp are THAT sensitive because I do know that to kill invertebrate parasites on fish you need a LOT more copper then the amount I am adding in my fertilizer. But I am a plant person more then a shrimp person, so I add ferts to my plant tank w/ shrimps and don't in my algae covered shrimp tank.

Hi Ethan,

What types of shrimps do you have besides the Crystal reds?
