I have ghost shrimp...it appears as of last week that one of my females was pregnant (she had green round shaped eggs under her tail for a good week or so). Now those have dissapeared and I don't see anything else in the tank...
Do they turn into some kind of larvae that I'm just missing? where should I look, are there any special precautions I should take?
On a side note one of my big snales just laid a TON of eggs outside(above) the water line..should i keep them moist, like splash them with water or what?
Thanks for the help guys!

My guess is that the eggs hatched, and are now in their planktonic larval stage. If you have a filter that is not designed for fry (like an air-driven sponge filter), then those larvae most likely got sucked up and killed.
Do you have mystery snails? I breed common ramshorn snails and they lay their egg jellies below the water line. If the snails chose to lay theirs above the surface of the water, I would think that the eggs do not need to be wet all the time. Are you interested in baby snails? If so, I guess splashing the eggs from time to time wouldn't hurt.
Most people have problems with snails overtaking their tank and try desparately to stop them from breeding!

Let's keep the snail discussions in the appropriate forum, not the shrimp forum. See here for more details:
