CARIDINA BREVICARPALIS

Does anyone know anything about these?

All I have is that they are red with a rather bizarre pointed nose........altogether rather weird.

Once again are they suitable for hard water?........breedable?

If that's really what you have, then:

1. Hard water: Yes.

2. breedable?: not easily. Same way as Amano shrimp.

Hi Mustafa,

These are currently being offered on one of my wholesalers lists, their pic seems to correspond with others I have seen on German sites. So assuming they are correct its genuine. They are more than twice the price of crystal reds, so I guess they are a bit special.

Thanks for the info, what a shame they are not easy to breed.
