Welcome to the forum.

Do you mean CRS Caridina sp. "Crystal Red", not RCS "Red Cherry Shrimp"

Welcome to the forum! :-D

I'm new too, but i'm already learning a lot about shrimp keeping. There are lots of good old threads, and articles.

Hello and welcome :D So this the first time you bought CRS but have you kept any other kinds of shrimp? If so, what kind? Hope you enjoy the many areas of the site and find it useful :)

Hi boys and thanks for your contribution....yes I actually have 5 Amano caridina, whithout problems.......thanks for the first advice......one of the my doubts is.......When you changes a lot of water do you use chimical products or it's the same to remain the water for one or two days with the oxygen pump so that clorine and other chimical products can be away from the water(I believe is the cheapest solution or not???!!).

The problem with this is you need to know what is in your water. If you have cloramines with or without chlorine, you will not get this harmful component out of the water by aging it or using the air pump method. Many of the member of this site use dechlorinator such as Seachem Prime to romove Chloramine/Chlorine and to nutralize other harmful components in the water. Well best wishes to you and hope you find a good solution for you water :)
