New member, my tank

Post by Marx »

Hi, I'm new here. I live in the Netherlands and have a shrimptank with RC en the normal black ones.
I hope to breed my shrimp in the future but up to yesterday I only had females in that tank.

Here is a pic of my shrimptank:

It's a 5 gallon tank and at the moment 6 shrimp and 2 baby golden mountain minnos live in it.

Welcome Marx, I like the way your tank is set up. It looks like a mountainous landscape. Be sure to keep your eyes on the minnos and move them when the time comes. Keep us updated :)

I will, I have a 50 gallon with all older minnos, that's were they will go when big enough.
The tank has 2 big logs of driftwood so it does look like a mountainous landscape. The shrimp climb on it and peel all algea of the plants, moss and wood.

Marx, I too have normal bee shrimp in my tank. I have found that they need cooler temperature and cleaner water than the cherries and amanos but they are great to have around and to look at. I plan to get more and also maybe set up a seperate tank just for them. Well if I do I will let you know. Thanks again for sharing :D
