A couple pics...

Post by ToddnBecka »

I saw a good opportunity to snap a couple pics of 2 of the breeding size crays in the 30. Still waiting for eggs to appear. Other residents are another orange male, 2 more orange/brown (brown) females, several wild color snowball shrimp, and a few (relatively) snails. I've been thinking about adding some spixi snails for variety, with the MTS and ramshorns.

:D Very nice! The rocks in the tank are very well placed to simulate the natural environment. Thanks :-D

The rocks are mostly limestone and shale, and have been used previously in other aquariums. I also keep African cichlids, so I have collected quite a few rocks for the tanks over the years. Any soluble iron would likely have leached out long ago.
