New to crayfish.. Id please?

Post by Finghin »

These guys came in with a shipment of goldfish from work. I think our fish come from south or central florida. They're all about 2" long from nose to tail. I honestly don't know much about crayfish, let alone Iding them, so any help is welcome! If you need a certain shot or a closeuip just let me know.

This guy is a tiny bit bigger and has less spotting on his carapace, I can't seem to get a good picture of him though, he's too quick and shy.

I almost impossible to ID crays based soley on pictures but if they are from the area you claim then they are most likely regular color Procambarus alleni.

looks like a Procambarus. Alleni could be. That last one however reminds me of a Procambarus acutus I once had. It had the same fine black dots on the carapace. Any definite answer would need a close look at the gonopods of a form 1 male.
