Hello,
Just thought id say hello. I live in South Wales, UK. Ive kept fish before but on my search for ever more interesting and unusual creatures for my tank, i have discovered Shrimp ! How cool are they.
I was wondering does anyone know where i could find/anyone have photos of these dwarf shimp in their natural habitat ? Ive been reading about how its best to keep things simple in a Shrimp tank, no true substrate, just moss and a rock or two.
Be cool to see these guys natural residence !
This is a great forum.

Hi Steve
And welcome to the Forum
This may be a difficult request.
There are probably only a handful of members that have had the opportunity to collect there own shrimp.
As most of these shrimp are collected by exporters.
Since you are new to the Invert. Hobby.
The best advice I can give you, is to be careful.
This Hobby is very addicting.

If you want to really see picture of dwarf shrimp in their natural habitat, I would recomend doing an internet search on "fresh water shrimp and their natural habitat". It may bring up picture of the shrimp in there natural stream and lake homes. Please let us know what you find and post some of the pictures here.
