I just noticed two females carring eggs. How long does it take for amano eggs to hatch?

My Amano shrimp carried its eggs for almost 3 months!!!!
When it finally hatched, it looked like there was a sand storm or something coz the larvaes dispersed everywhere
My Red nose are now carrying eggs
Wondering is there any special consideration i should know lest i end up without shrimplets again!
Cheers,
KG

No wonder none of my amano larvae survived!!!Mustafa wrote:This way you're prepared for next time if you want to transfer the larvae to brackish/saltwater.

I'm wondering if pH plays an important part in the hatching.
what is everyone pH ? My tank water pH=8. kH = 4
I have yet to see hatching.
Can someone tell me how the larvae look like ?
I saw white creatures that stick on the glass tank with 5 legs.
Is that it ? Or is it something else ?
Or are they free-swimming in the water all the time ?
Do they stick on the glass ?

thgng, They are really small and skinny. About 1.5 mm long and about as thick as a hair. They hang upside down in the water column and are free floating.
