Finally,
I have been waiting awhile for this. I have seen my first Sri Lanka youngster tonight.
I was getting worried.

I will try and post pictures when it will come close enough to the front of the tank.

out of curiosity, why is it only 1 baby? What happened to the rest?
They are in a planted tank,
And the young are clear, which makes them hard to see.

I have counted at least 10 in the tank.

But with a little point-n-shoot,
They are just a blur.

boy, do I know that feeling :lol:
I have to try a technique I read about in the Photography section of this forum - using a magnifying glass to bring the image IN FRONT of the glass, as well as make it larger. I tried with a cheap hand-held magnifying glass but it stretched/distorted the image too much to be of any use.

Hi Newjohn, How is your baby Sri Lanka doing? Have you seen any more of them? The females are gorgeous when they are berried, IMO.

I have found a few more post-larva shrimp,
I have tried to take a few pictures, but they are just to small.

I have not found alot, The 2 Females are always berries.
I will have to try something else to get the survival percentages up.
