Halocaridina rubra - Lava rocks

Hello,
I am new in this forum (but I´ve been reading some topics about halocaridina rubra for a while), so please excuse, if I make some mistakes (also in spelling).

So, my question: Can lava rocks content heavy metal and so pollute the water? I saw many pictures with tanks, that contend halocaridinas and lava rocks, but I could not find out, which special kind of lava it is.

Hi Evi,

I personally like without lava rock style because of potential heavy metal pollution.

Pretty small hiding space seems to be needed.
