Is one of my cherry red shrimp pregnant?

Post by Gibbyshrimp »

Sorry I can't get a better photo, but the one on the left you is the one I'm wondering about. she has a fairly big stomach? Inside look like little green eggs bouncing around but I'm not sure if she is pregnant or not? Help please! I only recently acquired a couple of cherry shrimp from a friend and so far they have been doing well. I do 25% weekly water changes and my tank is filtered as well as at a constant temp of 26 degrees Celsius. They usually just feed off of the plants and algae on ornaments, every couple of days I'll put a sprinkle of Hikari Shrimp cuisine in and they seem to be doing well. Is there anything else I should be doing? But my main concern is whether that one shrimp is pregnant or not? Thank you!
