fungus on my giant african cameroon shrimp

hi ive noticed my new shrimp has a strange fungus coming out of all of his body. it looks white and spindally, almost like small stalks coming out of everywhere! even his eyes! it hasnt affected his feeding but im worried. has anyone heard of anything like this before??

Yes, I have seen this many times before. Your shrimp has parasites. These parasites thrive in organically polluted water. Usually the parasites go away when the shrimp molts, but if you don't fix your water parameters with some water changes and decreased feeding, they will return.
